ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The 22nd Annual 2009 TEXAS SHOOTOUT will once again be the top women’s college recruiting event of the year. The event draws State, Regional and National level teams and clubs from all over the country. Last year more than 375 college coaches from NCAA Division One, Division Two, Three and NAIA schools attended the TEXAS SHOOTOUT. The TEXAS SHOOTOUT is a nationally recognized tournament designed to promote the highest level of competition in youth soccer. Games will be scheduled to create the best possible matches and to give athletes a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages set for youth soccer in the country.
THE LEVEL OF PLAY
The TEXAS SHOOTOUT will attract and accommodate top teams from around the country. The event is open to U11-U19 girl’s teams. Early registration is highly encouraged. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please Note: The U15 and older age groups historically fill up before the April 1st deadline.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
If you wish to participate in the 22nd Annual TEXAS SHOOTOUT, please complete and submit the online application and team information forms. Application Form and Team Information Form MUST be submitted online.

Application Fee: $425 (U11-U14)
$850 (U15-U19)

Teams will receive official notification of acceptance and non-acceptance via email. A list of accepted teams will be posted on the Challenge Soccer Club website.
AGE GROUPS
The TEXAS SHOOTOUT is open to the following age groups:
U18+ (August 1, 1989–July 31, 1991) U14 (August 1, 1994-July 31, 1995)
U17 (August 1, 1991-July 31, 1992) U13 (August 1, 1995-July 31, 1996)
U16 (August 1, 1992-July 31, 1993) U12 (August 1, 1996-July 31, 1997)
U15 (August 1, 1993-July 31, 1994) U11 (August 1, 1997–July 31, 1998)
U10 (August 1, 1998)
U11 & U12 Teams: The TEXAS SHOOTOUT will be offering U11-U12 competition in the 8v8 OR 11v11 formats. Please designate which format you prefer in the ‘special requests’ section of the tournament application. All U10 games will be 8v8.
